Howardson Group is proud to welcome Jermayne Stanley as our new Purchasing Administrator, strengthening the team that supports the production of our world-class turfcare machinery.

Jermayne joins us with a wealth of experience from his previous role in the rail sector. “After nearly three years working in stores, parts and purchasing for a rail plant vehicle upgrade and engineering company, the rail side unfortunately went into decline. That led me to seek further employment and I was lucky enough to find this exciting role with Howardson Group,” he explained. His knowledge of managing stock, handling complex supply chains and supporting engineering operations provides an excellent foundation for his new position within Howardson Group.

When asked what drew him to the company, Jermayne highlighted our heritage and values: “Being part of a fifth-generation, family-run company that has been making prestige lawn mowers for over 100 years is very rare. I’m excited about using my experience in this role and learning new things all the time to help me improve.”

In his new role, Jermayne will be working closely with Chris Russell, Purchasing and Planning Manager, to oversee the ordering of all stock and consumables required for production. This key responsibility ensures that manufacturing runs smoothly and efficiently, helping to maintain the high standards of quality and reliability that Howardson Group is known for around the world.

“I will be taking over the Purchasing Administrator role. I will be responsible, alongside my manager Chris, for all orders of stock and consumables for production,” Jermayne said. His focus will be on supporting the production team, streamlining processes and contributing to the continued success of the business.

Outside of work, Jermayne describes himself as a keen music and technology enthusiast. “I love music and gadgets,” he shared, showing his interest in creativity and innovation-qualities that also translate well into his professional role.

Looking back on his career so far, Jermayne expressed pride in the way he has been welcomed into the Howardson Group family: “It’s nice to be part of a company that really looks after their employees. They have made me feel welcome and taken the time to help me learn as much as possible about the products we make. It’s also very noticeable across the company how happy staff are in their roles.”

It’s also great to see the enthusiasm and positivity he’s already brought to the role, and I look forward to working closely with him as he develops with the company.”
