The standard gang mower with its 190mm diameter cutting cylinder is ideal for maintaining sports turf surfaces such as golf fairways, cricket outfields, football and rugby pitches along with ornamental areas.
With its 250mm diameter cutting cylinders the Giant gang mower is ideal for semi rough and amenity spaces. They can be towed as a single cylinder unit, set of 3 or set of 5 cutting cylinders behind a compact tractor, ride on mower or ATV.
A minimum of 20hp is required for towing sets of 3 and 5 cutting cylinders. Their weight and balance is important for a quality cut without bouncing and a sharp well set gang mower will perform in wet or dry conditions.
The framework is designed to allow each unit to follow undulations ensuring a first class cut over the whole area.
