Product Specialist / Demonstrator – South East England

Howardson Group Ltd is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Product Specialist / Demonstrator to support customers across the South East of England.

Home to the Dennis, SISIS and Hunter Grinders brands, Howardson Group Ltd is a British manufacturer with a strong reputation for professional turf maintenance equipment, product quality and customer support.

This is a practical, customer-facing role for someone who understands professional turf care machinery and enjoys demonstrating what great equipment can do.

The role:

You will showcase the performance and benefits of our product range to new and existing customers. You’ll set up, operate and explain our machinery, ensuring every demonstration is delivered professionally and reflects the high standards associated with Howardson Group.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering on-site machinery demonstrations at customer locations throughout the South East
• Confidently operating a wide range of professional turf maintenance equipment
• Explaining each machine’s features, benefits and correct operation
• Training customers’ staff in safe operation, routine maintenance and best practice
• Preparing demonstration equipment, including servicing, cleaning, loading and unloading
• Attending trade shows, exhibitions, open days and dealer events
• Completing demonstration reports and gathering customer feedback to support the sales process
• Working closely with our sales, service and logistics teams to coordinate demonstration schedules
• Supporting machine handovers and operator inductions following a sale
• Ensuring all activities comply with health and safety requirements

About you

We’re looking for someone who has:

• Experience operating professional turf care, agricultural or grounds maintenance machinery
• A confident and engaging communication style, with the ability to build rapport at all levels
• A self-motivated and organised approach, with the confidence to work independently on the road
• A full UK driving licence; a trailer towing entitlement would be advantageous
• A practical, mechanically minded approach and an understanding of basic machinery maintenance
• Flexibility regarding working hours and travel
• A professional manner and a genuine commitment to excellent customer service
