The Howardson Group proudly hosted its Export Dealer Training Week 2025 from 15th to 18th September welcoming dealer partners from across the globe to Derbyshire for an immersive three-day programme of product training, factory insight and hands-on experience with the latest innovations from Dennis, SISIS and Syn-Pro by SISIS.

Based out of the Kirk Langley factory the week offered a dynamic mix of technical education, practical demonstrations, factory tours and memorable social events – all designed to strengthen the knowledge, confidence and commercial capabilities of the Howardson Group’s export dealer network.

Attendees arrived in Derby on Monday 15th September, where they were welcomed by members of the senior leadership and commercial teams. After introductions and a welcome briefing, the group travelled to Allestree Bowls Club for a relaxed lawn bowls social event before enjoying an evening of street food and networking . The following days saw a packed schedule of in-depth product training and exclusive site visits to key locations across Derbyshire.

On Tuesday 16th September, delegates were taken to the Howardson Group factory at Kirk Langley, where they received a full introduction to the company, its core values, and strategic direction. This was followed by a comprehensive tour of the manufacturing facilities, offering a behind-the-scenes look at how Dennis, Sisis and Syn-Pro products are designed, manufactured and tested in Britain.

In the afternoon, the group moved to Brailsford Golf Course, where they took part in live SISIS product demonstrations and training, including greens maintenance equipment and innovative turf management solutions. This gave participants the chance to see the machines in action in a real-world setting, ask questions and gain a deeper understanding of application and benefits.

The day concluded with an exclusive tour of Derby County Football Club’s Pride Park Stadium, a long-standing user of Howardson equipment. Delegates gained insight into how elite sports turf teams integrate Dennis and SISIS equipment into their day-to-day pitch care routines.

Wednesday 17th September focused on Dennis and Syn-Pro by SISIS product training, starting once again at Brailsford Golf Course. Attendees were given in-depth walkthroughs of the product ranges, followed by practical hands-on sessions, where they operated and tested the latest models for themselves under expert guidance.

The group then travelled to Derby County Training Ground at Moor Farm, where a joint session featuring Dennis and SISIS machines focused on machine set-up, operator techniques, and real-time demonstrations across a variety of maintenance tasks. This session highlighted the performance, ease of use, and innovation that sets Howardson Group products apart in the global turfcare market.

A formal Q&A session and open discussion took place on the evening prior to their departure with many dealers sharing how valuable and enjoyable the experience had been. The final evening was rounded off with a traditional English roast dinner - a fitting end to an action-packed and productive week.

Tom Worthy, Regional Sales Director, commented:

“Our Export Dealer Training Week is more than just a training event — it’s about building lasting relationships, strengthening our global dealer family and giving our partners the tools they need to represent our products with confidence. We’re incredibly proud of the feedback we’ve received and it’s been fantastic to see such a high level of engagement throughout the week.”

“From factory tours to hands-on machine time at some of the most respected sports and golf venues in the region, this programme was designed to immerse our dealers in what makes Howardson Group and our Dennis, SISIS and Syn-Pro brands stand out. A huge thank you to everyone who attended and to all the teams who made it possible. We’re already looking ahead to the next one.”

With dealers visiting from countries as far away as Australia, the Export Dealer Training Week reinforced Howardson Group’s commitment to its international markets. By combining product excellence with expert training and meaningful personal connections, the company continues to support growth in both established and emerging territories.

The Howardson Group team would like to sincerely thank all attendees for their energy, curiosity and contribution to a hugely successful week. We look forward to continued collaboration and to welcoming even more partners to the UK in the near future.
