Dennis Mowers, part of the Howardson Group, welcomed golf industry professionals to Stand 252 at BTME 2026 in Harrogate (20th–22nd January), where the team showcased a range of professional turf maintenance machinery built to meet the evolving demands of modern golf course management.
Throughout the exhibition, visitors explored equipment trusted by course managers and greenkeeping teams for delivering consistent presentation, excellent playability and long-term turf quality across greens, tees, surrounds and wider playing areas. With more than a century of engineering heritage behind the brand, Dennis continues to combine time-proven design principles with modern electric technology offering exceptional battery performance alongside the reliability the industry expects.

Electric Performance for Fine Turf
A key highlight on the stand was the ES-510, a premium battery-powered mower developed specifically for the precise requirements of low cut turf maintenance. Perfect for greens, tees and fine turf areas, the machine delivers a smooth, ultra-fine finish where presentation is critical. Ultra-quiet operation, low hand-arm vibration and rapid recharge capability make it ideal for intensive daily use.
Its interchangeable cassette system allows multiple operations from a single power unit, enabling teams to switch efficiently between mowing, verticutting and brushing. The ES-510 provides a practical electric alternative to petrol-powered equipment, with the added benefits of quiet operation and reduced running costs. Users with existing petrol models can use the same cassettes in the ES-510.

Efficient Solutions for Wider Areas
For larger turf expanses, Dennis showcased its Gang Mower, designed for fairways, practice areas and other wide-area applications. Available in single, three or five-unit configurations, the gang mowers are engineered to deliver an even cut and consistent presentation, with robust construction that ensures dependable performance over undulating ground.
Supporting Turf Professionals
The Dennis team was on hand throughout the show to provide practical advice and discuss turf-care solutions tailored to individual course needs, reinforcing the company’s close working relationship with turf professionals.
Darren McMahon, Marketing Manager at Howardson Group, said:
“BTME is always a valuable opportunity for us to connect directly with the people using our equipment every day. There’s a clear shift towards electric technology, but without compromising on finish or reliability. The response to the ES-510 shows that course managers are looking for sustainable solutions that still deliver the high standards golfers expect and that’s exactly what Dennis is focused on providing.”
