The GCSAA Conference and Trade Show 2026 has now come to a close, and it proved to be a memorable week for the global turf industry. Held February 2nd–5th at the Orange County Convention Centre in Orlando, Florida, this year’s event marked a historic milestone - the 100th anniversary of the GCSAA - creating a truly once-in-a-century celebration.
For Howardson Group Ltd, it was a fantastic opportunity to be part of such a significant event, reconnecting with customers, distributors and industry professionals from across the world during an inspiring and productive few days.

Across the four-day show, the Howardson team welcomed a steady stream of visitors to Booth 1349, where we showcased a selection of our proven and high-performance turf maintenance equipment from both the Dennis and SISIS brands.
On display were:
Dennis
SISIS
These machines attracted strong attention from turf managers working across golf, sports turf and stadium environments. Demonstrating the equipment in person allowed us to discuss specific maintenance challenges and show how SISIS solutions can support surface quality, playability and long-term turf health.
The feedback we received was extremely positive, and it was particularly rewarding to hear how our equipment is already supporting facilities across North America and international markets.

A centennial celebration for the industry
The 2026 show carried a special atmosphere, with centennial celebrations woven throughout the event. Educational sessions, networking opportunities and technology showcases highlighted both the heritage of the turf industry and its future direction.
With 2026 also being a major sporting year in the United States, there was a clear focus on the importance of high-quality playing surfaces and the role that reliable, innovative maintenance equipment plays in achieving them. The event provided a valuable platform to exchange ideas, explore new technologies and strengthen relationships across the sector.

Strengthening global relationships
Events like GCSAA are essential for understanding the evolving needs of turf professionals worldwide. Meeting customers face-to-face and discussing their day-to-day challenges ensures we continue to develop equipment that delivers performance, durability and efficiency across a wide range of applications.

David Williamson, Commercial Director, said:
“This year’s GCSAA Conference and Trade Show was particularly special given the centennial celebrations and the fact that 2026 is a World Cup year in the USA, putting an even greater spotlight on the importance of world-class turf surfaces. It was a fantastic opportunity for us to connect with customers, meet new contacts and showcase SISIS equipment on a global stage. The response to our machines was extremely positive and reinforces our commitment to continuing to innovate and support turf professionals around the world.”
Tom Worthy, Export Regional Sales Director, added:
“GCSAA provides an excellent platform to strengthen relationships with our international partners and explore new opportunities in key markets. The conversations we had throughout the week were incredibly valuable, and it’s clear there is strong demand for high-quality, versatile turf maintenance equipment. We’re looking forward to building on the connections made in Orlando and continuing to support customers globally.”
