Howardson Group is delighted to announce the appointment of Lauren Haynes as our new Business Development Executive, strengthening our sales and commercial team during an exciting phase of growth.
Lauren brings a wealth of experience from both within and beyond the turf care industry. Having begun her career in customer services, she quickly progressed into a business development role, spending time on the road visiting dealers, identifying growth opportunities and organising dealer training events. More recently, Lauren has been working in the medical sector as a Sales Executive, where she was focused on acquiring new business and expanding existing client relationships by introducing new product lines.
Now returning to the turf and grounds care industry -a sector she knows and loves - Lauren is eager to hit the ground running.

“The grounds care industry was calling me back, and I’m so excited to be returning,” Lauren said. “Howardson Group is a name I’d always heard positive things about from dealers and end users alike. After meeting with David, Megan and Emily, it was clear this was going to be a fun, vibrant and exciting place to work. This is a new role for the business and I’m looking forward to making it my own and contributing to the ongoing success of the team.”
In her new role, Lauren will be responsible for supporting UK and international dealers with follow-up activity and lead qualification, while also collaborating closely with the Field Sales and Marketing teams to identify and pursue new opportunities.
Commenting on Lauren’s appointment, David Williamson, Commercial Director, said:
“We’re thrilled to welcome Lauren to the team. Her energy, industry knowledge and experience in both customer-facing and strategic sales roles make her a fantastic addition. As we continue to scale our operations in the UK and internationally, Lauren will play a key part in strengthening dealer relationships and unlocking new opportunities for growth.”

Outside of work, Lauren is a dedicated football fan, especially the Women’s Super League and spends much of her time supporting her daughter’s sports and hobbies, including football, gymnastics and horse riding. A keen equestrian herself, Lauren also enjoys watching true crime documentaries and unwinding with a well-earned trip to the pub.
When asked about her proudest career moment so far, Lauren shared:
“Cutting the wicket at Edgbaston. Can I say that? It was under close supervision of Head Groundsman Gary Barwell, of course but still a career highlight!”
Lauren’s passion for the industry and drive to succeed are clear and we’re excited to see what she brings to the role.
Welcome to the team, Lauren!
