Howardson Group was proud to be represented by Adam Hart and Jason Briggs at the Warwickshire College Group Turfcare Showcase, held on Wednesday 15th April 2026 at DLF Seeds, Thorn Farm, Inkberrow.
Running from 10:00am through to 3:00pm, the event organised by Pershore College provided a valuable platform for professionals across the turfcare industry to come together, exchange knowledge and explore the latest advancements in equipment and maintenance practices. With a strong attendance from grounds professionals, employers and apprentices, the showcase highlighted the importance of education, innovation and collaboration within the sector.

Set against the backdrop of DLF Seeds’ impressive facilities, the day featured a comprehensive programme of live turf demonstrations, practical machinery showcases and opportunities for hands-on interaction. The quality and variety of the on-site surfaces further enhanced the experience, allowing machines to be tested and demonstrated in the exact conditions they are designed for, giving attendees a more realistic and valuable insight into their performance. Attendees were able to see a wide range of industry-leading equipment in action, designed to address the evolving challenges faced by modern turf managers.
Representing both Dennis and SISIS, Adam and Jason spent the day engaging with visitors, offering expert insights and demonstrating how Howardson Group’s equipment continues to support high-quality turf maintenance across a variety of applications. Their presence allowed attendees to gain a deeper understanding of the performance, versatility and reliability associated with both brands.

One of the standout highlights from the day was the demonstration of the SISIS Quadraplay mounted on the Ventrac, which attracted significant attention. The versatility of the Quadraplay, combined with the adaptability of the Ventrac platform, sparked plenty of discussion around efficient and effective turf maintenance practices.
In addition, visitors were given the opportunity to get hands-on with the latest Dennis electric mowers. This proved particularly popular, as attendees were able to experience firsthand the benefits of battery-powered technology, including reduced noise levels, lower emissions and exceptional cutting performance. The interactive nature of these demonstrations allowed grounds teams to fully appreciate how the equipment could integrate into their day-to-day operations.

Throughout the day, Adam and Jason spoke with a wide range of visitors, from experienced professionals to those just starting their careers in turfcare.
Jason Briggs reflected on the success of the day:
"It was a fantastic event from start to finish. There was a great mix of experienced professionals and apprentices, which made for some really valuable conversations. It’s always rewarding to see people engaging directly with the equipment – especially getting hands-on with the Dennis electric mowers and seeing the level of interest in the SISIS Quadraplay on the Ventrac. Events like this are so important for the industry, bringing people together to share ideas and look at practical solutions for the challenges we all face in modern turfcare. We were lucky with the weather with the heavens opening at the close of play".

Howardson Group would like to extend its thanks to the GMA, Warwickshire College Group (Pershore College) and DLF Seeds for hosting such a well-organised and engaging event, as well as to everyone who attended, visited the stand and took the time to speak with Adam and Jason throughout the day.
