Howardson Group Showcases Dennis and SISIS at the 2026 FEGGA Conference in Faro

Howardson Group Ltd was proud to attend the 2026 FEGGA Conference and International Summit, held from 10–13 March in Faro, Portugal, where more than 800 greenkeeping professionals gathered for one of the most important events in the international turf management calendar.

Representing Howardson Group Ltd at the event was Sales Manager Ewen Wilson, who was on hand to showcase the company’s renowned Dennis and SISIS equipment ranges to delegates from across Europe and beyond.

The annual FEGGA Conference continues to grow in scale and influence, bringing together leading figures from the golf greenkeeping sector to share knowledge, discuss industry challenges, and explore innovations in turf management.
This year’s summit welcomed representatives from 24 golf greenkeeping associations, creating a truly international environment for discussion, collaboration and professional development.

With sustainability, turfgrass research and technological innovation at the forefront of the programme, the conference provided a valuable platform for industry professionals to exchange ideas and consider how the profession can continue to evolve in the face of changing environmental, economic and operational demands.

A series of keynote presentations formed a central part of the conference programme, with expert speakers addressing some of the most pressing challenges facing golf greenkeepers today.

Topics ranged from sustainable course management and climate resilience to the importance of education, training, and attracting the next generation of greenkeeping professionals into the industry.
These sessions sparked meaningful discussion among delegates, highlighting the shared commitment across the industry to maintaining high standards in course presentation while adapting to modern sustainability expectations.

During the conference, Howardson Group presented its Dennis and SISIS equipment ranges, both of which have long been trusted by turf professionals worldwide for their precision, durability and versatility.

A highlight of the event for Howardson was a “speed dating” style networking session, where suppliers were given the opportunity to engage directly with greenkeeping association representatives.

During these structured meetings, Ewen Wilson had approximately ten minutes with each participant, allowing him to introduce the Dennis and SISIS brands on a one-to-one basis. The format created an excellent opportunity to discuss equipment solutions, answer questions and build valuable connections with greenkeeping leaders from across Europe.

Held at TourTurf® Events in Faro, the four-day summit featured a combination of keynote sessions, networking opportunities, trade engagement, and celebrations recognising the organisation’s achievements over the past 30 years.
