Dennis Marks 80 SALTEX Shows with Latest E-Series Mowers
Dennis Mowers will celebrate a unique milestone at SALTEX 2026 as the only company to have exhibited at every edition of the show, returning to the NEC Birmingham on 11–12 November on Stand E124.
As SALTEX marks its 80th edition, Dennis will combine more than a century of British manufacturing and engineering expertise with its latest developments in battery-powered professional mowing; led by the new ES-34SL lightweight battery finishing mower.
Part of the Howardson Group, Dennis has built a global reputation for reliable, high-quality professional turfcare machinery, with its mowers used from grassroots facilities to some of the world's leading sporting venues. Its extensive range supports grounds teams across football, rugby, cricket, golf, bowls, tennis and other natural turf sports.
A major focus at SALTEX will be the Dennis E-Series. Developed by building on the success of established Dennis petrol machines, the battery-powered range retains the cut quality, reliability and familiar operating characteristics grounds professionals expect from Dennis, while delivering significant additional operational benefits.
These include up to 80% lower running costs compared with petrol, lower maintenance and servicing requirements, low noise and vibration, and zero exhaust emissions at the point of use. Long battery run times and rapid charging also enable grounds teams to confidently incorporate electric machinery into demanding daily maintenance programmes.
Taking centre stage will be the ES-34SL, Dennis' latest lightweight battery-powered finishing mower. Developed in response to feedback from turf professionals, it combines greater agility with the precision required to produce outstanding stadium presentation.
Features include a new intermediate grooming brush to stand the grass up ahead of cutting, click height-of-cut adjustment in precise 0.1mm increments from 9–35mm and straightforward bottom blade-to-cylinder adjustment. The ES-34SL can cut up to four pitches on a single charge and fully recharge in approximately two hours.
Alongside the ES-34SL, visitors will be able to explore further E-Series machines and Dennis' established petrol-powered range, demonstrating the breadth of solutions available for professional grounds maintenance.
Megan Oliver, Managing Director of Howardson Group, said: “SALTEX has always been one of the most important events in the grounds management calendar for Howardson Group. It gives us the opportunity to showcase the continued development of Dennis, SISIS and Hunter Grinders, meet customers from across the industry and better understand the challenges they face. Those conversations are invaluable; they help ensure we continue to develop equipment that delivers the quality, reliability and performance grounds professionals depend on.”
